National Anthem Singer Gina Marie Incandela Is Simply Adorable

National anthem singer Gina Marie Incandela was adorable when she performed at the 2009 NBA Finals. I never paid so much attention to the national anthem of the United States as when she sang. And I’m sure that many people around the world, basketball fans or not, were also impressed. Gina’s performance warmed my heart and at the same time made me feel proud as an American.
Gina is also the good-luck charm of the Orlando Magic. Though the Magic lost the 2009 NBA Finals this Sunday to the Los Angeles Lakers, most of the players and their management think that Gina brought them luck. Those of you who missed Gina Marie Incandela’s performance during the finals, watch the video below and here’s Gena’s website.
The Funniest Show after Seinfeld Is…Older British Sitcom Fawlty Towers
It’s been a long time since we saw a good new sitcom. Everybody Loves Raymond was good, Seinfeld was the best, but I can’t understand how shows like The Office get Golden Globes—it’s boring, really boring. For those of you who want to see a funny sitcom—maybe its time to rediscover the good old shows from the 70’s and 80’s.
Fawlty Towers Is the Second Best Anglo-Sitcom Ever
Fawlty Towers (1975)—a classic British comedy, voted as the Britain’s best sitcom in 2004 poll, starred John Cleese as the snobbish and rude hotel owner Basil Fawlty. Another favorite character of mine is the Spanish waiter Manuel, who is given a hard time by his employer, Basil.
The Best of Fawlty Towers
My favorite episode is The Builders, when Basil Fawlty hires a cheap builder to do some structural alterations—it made me laugh my head off. Another funnier episode is the Gourmet Night. Here Basil has important hotel guests that come for a gourmet night, but unfortunately for Basil the chef has too much drink on account of his romantic attachment to the Spanish waiter Manuel.
Here’s a video of the first part of The Builders—the complete episode enjoy.
Next is the first part of A Touch of Class episode.
